Product details :
Vacuum consumable electrode arc furnace is mainly used for melting active metals such as titanium, niobium, zirconium, and refractory metals such as tungsten and molybdenum. In addition, it is also used for melting iron-based, nickel based, cobalt based alloy materials. Its characteristics are that it can melt at high temperature and high speed, with significant degassing effect. The molten metal is not contaminated by refractory materials and can reduce non-metallic inclusions in the metal. Due to the adoption of a new electronic control system in this device, the electrode lifting can be manually or automatically controlled, and the melting speed can be uniformly adjusted. It has sensitive tracking, no disturbance, and reliable operation. Vacuum consumable electrode arc furnace is a process of melting molten metal bars made by pressing them in a vacuum or protective atmosphere. During the working process, the metal rod itself serves as the upper electrode (negative electrode) and generates an arc with the lower electrode (positive electrode) placed in the crystallizer under the action of a current source. The high temperature of the arc melts the upper electrode itself and is rapidly cooled and solidified in a water-cooled crystallizer, resulting in metal or alloy spindles. Vacuum non consumable electrode arc furnace is generally used in laboratories and is a high-end, precise, and small footprint experimental application equipment.
